Northwest ADA Center Accessibility Statement

Every effort has been made to ensure the pages of this website are accessible and usable for all visitors.  Our web content is compliant with Section 508 Standards for Web-based Internet Information and also Conformance Level A as set forth in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 developed by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WCAG 2.0 - W3C).  The manual and automatic procedures used to evaluate the site follow those recommended by the Web Accessibility Initiative.

Many documents on this site are in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF). These documents are provided so that users will be able to obtain and view publications in their original format.  In order to view, navigate through, and print PDF documents, you may need to download and install the free Acrobat Reader software. Because visitors using screen readers and other assistive technologies may have difficulty accessing PDF documents, all documents produced by Northwest ADA Center will also be made available in an alternative MS Word, HTML or text format.  To access those PDF documents not produced by Northwest ADA Center, there are tools available on the Adobe website that can convert PDF documents to either HTML or text.  Northwest ADA Center uses the built in Accessible Tools for Microsoft Office available in each application for conversion of Microsoft Office applications to standards compliant, accessible HTML content.

If you have any difficulty accessing the information provided on this web site, wish to request materials in an alternative format, or need further assistance, please contact the Northwest ADA Center at:
