I am a professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and head of the Division of Rehabilitation Counseling and director of the U.W. Center for Technology and Disability Studies. My research interests are focused on maximizing participation for people with disabilities in community and employment. We look at implementation of civil rights, uses of technology and accommodations, and how to measure outcomes. In addition to my work with the Disability Studies program, I am one of the core faculty members in our doctoral program in Rehabilitation Sciences.
