Please celebrate the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with Oregon! Hosted by the Oregon Disabilities Commission and the Northwest ADA Center, a free, weekly Lunch and Learn session will be held virtually to allow more Oregonians to have access to this important information. The series will be held from noon to 1 p.m. (Pacific Time) every Tuesday in July, starting July 6.

Judy Heumann, Disability Rights Activist
Heumann is an internationally recognized leader in the disability rights community. Her memoir, “Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist,” chronicles her fights to gain rights for people with disabilities, including her work on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She is also featured in the film “Crip Camp,” which shares the story of teens at camp in the 1970s and how they helped sparked the disability civil rights movement.
