Northwest ADA Center and Oregon Health Authority present this free 4-part webinar series on the ADA and Healthcare.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a civil rights law that provides for equal opportunity and access for people with disabilities. This webinar series will help health care providers understand their rights and responsibilities under the ADA. It will also help providers understand the rights of patients with disabilities. Our series begins with an introduction to disability identity and culture, explains key legal requirements, and concludes with an interactive discussion about bias in the health care setting. We will cover three basic legal requirements:

OHA Cultural Competence Continuing Education

This webinar series is an OHA-Approved Cultural Competence Continuing Education training opportunity. To receive a certificate of completion, you must watch the webinar recordings and then complete an evaluation survey. After the survey has been completed, you will receive a certificate within 7-10 business days via email.
