People with Disabilities and Parking: Accessible Parking for Businesses and Consumers

Accessible parking for people with disabilities is a combination of design, accommodations, formulas, common sense, and regulations. Throughout this webinar, we will discuss the design and use of the accessible parking space. Material will include a discussion about why accessible parking is the way it is and exceptions to the rules. We will also discuss accessible parking as an accommodation for employment, and for housing. Lastly, we will discuss the regulations regarding using accessible parking spots and placards, particularly for the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. The webinar will specifically cover:
